  • QPR's Asian tour squad

The QPR squad will depart for Kota Kinabalu at midday today (Friday) for our maiden pre-season tour of Asia.
Mark Hughes has confirmed a squad of 26 players will make the 12-day trip, including summer signings Fabio Da Silva, Samba Diakite, Andrew Johnson and Ji-Sung Park.
Fellow new addition Rob Green will join the touring party next week, owing to his involvement in Euro 2012.
Ryan Nelsen is currently with the New Zealand Olympic squad so will not travel.
The full squad for the Asia Tour is as follows: Jay Bothroyd, Radek Cerny, Djibril Cisse, Matthew Connolly, Shaun Derry, Fabio Da Silva, Samba Diakite, Michael Doughty, Kieron Dyer, Max Ehmer, Hogan Ephraim, Alejandro Faurlin, Anton Ferdinand, Rob Green, Michael Harriman, Heidar Helguson, Clint Hill, Andrew Johnson, Jamie Mackie, Brian Murphy, Nedum Onuoha, Ji-Sung Park , Adel Taarabt, Armand Traore, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Bobby Zamora.

Hopefully Cerny will shine so that they don't have to rely on Green blindly/exclusively in the coming season.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

we can probally assume all those not on tour are not going to be at the club in the coming season.

There could be transfer discussions in the mix and some players have to stay to discuss with other clubs.

Shame about Young as decent but don't forget when Fabio came it was said to be as a RB not lb, in which case he and Onouha have that base covered. Would then beg the question ref LB... Maybe Traore to start there, or is there still option on Taiwo..? As far as I know he still hasn't signed elsewhere?

I really rate Ehmer, & Harriman's not badeither, good to see them going
                        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Kieron Dyer is the one ill be keeping an eye on, if he could stay fit he could be a viable option at right back.

His fitness record indicates he's far too much of a risk IMHO.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
