If the season started this weekend would you be happy?

I'd be over the moon John to be fair

We're definetely stronger as a squad
For the first time since colour TV we've (so far) had a summer with no scandal
The positive vibe oozes out of the club from top down
Our Manager has been able to plan for this season, unhindered, from the time Crouchy fell over and Aguero hit the back of the ne; well after the mother of hangovers that followed that.
There's now top class people at the top
I've every confidence we'll get stronger as the season goes on because, injuries aside, our off pitch people won't take no nonsense and if players don't stick it in they know they will be replaced in January

If at the end of the season we were told we would sign Diakite, Park, Nelsen, Green and Johnson on permanent deals and Fabio for a season loan.... yes i would be very happy with that.

The fact we are still hunting a winger and have been linked with very good options, plus a CB and again linked with good options, and possibly this Celtic Korean it is all very promising for the future....

i think come the end of august i will be well happy but we still a centre back and another striker. although last year had to be one of the worst preseasons. this year has been hard because you know its going to be so goood but you just cant get to see it. argh

Exactly. Plus keeping Adel, and tieing him into a new 4 year deal, is great news IMO. All in all, a great summer of activity already. Superb how the current regime have done the business early doors so as to get a proper pre-season together gelling. Top class.
