Sorry Epik but Defoe would be terrible in that formation. Playing one up front with three AMs behind requires the forward to get involved in buildup play, provide an out-ball, hold up the ball, lay it off etc etc. Defoe does none of those things. You are essentially asking him to play Helguson's promotion season role, which HH would actually do better than Defoe anyway.

If we must use him then:

-----------Defoe - Zamora
Taarabt - Faurlin - Diakite - Park

...would work. But Cisse is still far better in that role

Yeah spot on mate, Cisse's only competition is AJ who i don't rate that highly at all
