Even The Mail,who are not known to be the quickest off the mark for news,have confirmed this morning that QPR are winning the chase for Hoilett over Newcastle and that £4m compensation is the figure being banded about.They also confirm that we are monitoring 20 year old Victor Wanyama who is due to have talks today with Celtic over his future.

But it seems everything is going fine. The same thing will happen, Celtic wants about 7M for Wanyama.

Hoilett will be a fantastic signing. Ki will provide some very stiff competition in midfield. You will see that Diakite and Faurlin (if recovered from his injury) are two extremely good defensive midfielders so its going to be interesting to see what formation Hughes uses. Probably a lot more squad rotation this season.

I didn't know the other bloke cd play as a centre half. Still think we are more likely to go for a traditional centre half. My bet wd be Gallas as cant see us landing Samba.
