In reality how much do these Twitter linking reporters actually know..? Maybe it has been finalised behind closed doors after initial disagreements, that's the whole point of sitting round a table to negotiate. The fact these reporters don't have all the facts doesn't mean something hasnt been sorted. All parties may have been asked to sign non disclosure agreemnts or something so it could be kept under wraps until they club wanted to make an announcement....

Or the reporter could be spot on.

Either way, if he signs or not, i trust the board to only go as far as represents value for QPR and the best interests of the club are the priority. If he's greedy and prices himself out of a deal by demanding inflated wages, on top of a massive signing on fee no doubt, plus a required settlement to Blackburn then cya.....

Villa have gone to crap look at them last season IMO was lucky to stay up. Newcastle have a very good team so does everton. I had this discussion with my uncle I asked what teams in the league have a better squad than us this is if we get hoilett and ki.
Better: man u,scum, man city, arsenal ,spurs ,Liverpool, everton , Newcastle,
      Worse everyone else .

Our midfield, even as it stands now is, IMO, very very strong, with a potential starting 4 of Taarabt Park Diakite Faurlin which leaves Mackie, SWP, Derry, Smith, Barton (obviously after his suspension) out of the side. Plus the possibility of this Ki and/or Wanyaki or whatever his name is form Celtic. All in all, we have a solid midfield IMO, with or without Hoillett, Im a happy bunny.
i agree would love hoilett at the club but as you say we already have a strong midfield if we was to miss out it would give us more funds in other areas where needed.

No chance of top 6 I dont think mate. Top half, maybe. Newcastle have a good solid settled side, they will be above us. Villa, IMO, are a weak side, but who knows what Lambert will do there? I hope he fails tbh, but he has a proven track rcord, albeit at smaller clubs than Villa.

My guess at our finish this year will be 12th.... Was always 14th but the recent activity makes me think we can better than.

With the board and manager we have now, i take the attitude if he doesn't want to come fine..............Mike Rigg/Sparky will i'm sure have other targets just as good.I don't want QPR held to ransom by players who think we have more money than sense, if Mark thinks he's worth x amount per week, then thats it.....we pay no more than that

You and me both mate. I just really want to be officialy safe with a good few games to go as to avoid the bl00dy nerves from last year, not sure I could handle it again! Saying that, the celebrations at the Stoke home game when Cisse scored and I heard the geezer next to me tell me Bolton has lost were absolutley mental, never going to forget that!

Fair enough to the board if they walk away.

On the hoilett subject I don't think it is the young lad him self. It's going to be his greedy dad wanting more money ect telling his boy he is worth more and all that jazz.

50K is over the top but to be fair we are already paying more money to worse players by all accounts. If we have a reputation then of course agents will look to exploit that.

The board know what they're doing, if they wanted to pay him 52k p/w they would do as many of the new signings are being paid more than that. There must be a reason not to offer him what he wants

Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million

                              And many more mistakes

So Billy, you say Hoilett did not look like he liked our stadium. What do you mean by this? Can you describe what his face looked like then at the time?
Wasn't like this, was it?: :omg-:
"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0
