He looked very one dimensional to me - which made him very easy to read. That combined with a clear lack of confidence and touch left me underwhelmed to say the least.

Is that going to change? Because if it's not then they're welcome to him....... and his father.......

Mackie is quality in a relegation scrap as he'll work tirelessly for the team.. If we're looking to push on and are comfortable then i'd have SWP over him, much more flair

Whether your in a relegation scrap or pushing on, players like Mackie are a dream. He's got goals in him, gives defenders a nightmare 90 mins and always gives 100%.

Whereas SWP does none of the above and looked most happiest when he was sat on the bench last season, always laughing and joking. I'd let him go for free.

Granted, but that doesn't automatically mean he will be garbage next season. Furlong was garbage when we first signed him, now he's thought of as a legend.

He played very well for us in the opening matches, did the same against City ,Hence he will probably come good under Hughes´s guidance.

He's on mega bucks and he isn't the player he was. He had a terrible season for us and I can't really see him improving this coming season.
