A set of actions more valuable than millions of words, we will show them how strong we are in 12-13 season

It really is of no importance what other fans think of our team /our shirts / who we sign, or the size of the stadium our owners will build

as long as when they visit they see their team get a good drubbing ,

i just loved the ,"old days " when you could turn up and get a ticket at the turnstiles hopefully with the new stadium that will happen again so we will attract the

casuel fan who turns in to a lifelong supporter ,

at the moment trying to get match tickets for me and two boys is harder than nicking a tenner out of fort knox............

In fairness I can't see what Smudge has said that's wrong. This whole topic is about QPR & their old/new ground so it's pretty obvious that people are going to give their opinions about QPR & their old/new ground. You were the one who turned it into a tit-for-tat "Oh you said something bad about my club so I'm going to say something bad about yours" load of crap that infests everyother football forum.
I'm rather confussed by your other point too. One minute you're telling us how you know you're not going to build the fanbase overnight, but then the next minute you're telling us how you're so massive 'cos you took some made-up number of fans to Wembley & have half the Earth's population on your database, then the next minute you're back to saying how you know you can't build the fanbase overnight.

To give my opinion (Cue some snipe at Stoke in your reply) 45k is way, way, way too big for QPR, now or in the future. 30k would be fine, & even then you'd have room for building your fanbase 'cos it'd still have plenty of empty seats for pretty much every game.

..... Oh & Loftus Road is a hovel

Lets consider there are people who feel fairly disturbing as we biuld new stadium and sign brand new players
Other clubs fans could be jealous or find themselves satisfied by taunting other fans.

i agree with most of them, i think 45k is way too big, 30k would suit us, 45k is just inviting tourists to our ground which will kill the atmosphere and have our club that has a very good reputation for loyal hardcore fans getting branded as the "new fulham" i appreciate everthing that the owners are doing but its not all about money, you need to keep the soul of the club! we will not fill it and even if we do it will be like a morgue
I cant help FAURLIN in the love with you.....

Remember, the stadium will be for music events and such like. This is what will enable the stadium to pay for itself. With a stadium bigger than we can fill, we can offer free tickets to kids which will pay off in the long run too.

Tony will lay out the plans for the stadium soon, I'm sure he'll make a believer of these unwashed. The most charismatic chairman in the PL and all that

45,000 is ridiculous for a club like ours. The original rumour of 35k would've been a tad too much also, but eventually would've been perfect if we're eventually able to establish ourselves as a top half premier league club.

I'm afraid we will end up with an atmosphere like Coventry if we go ahead with the 45k stadium.

By the way, before all the miserable protective ##### jump down my throat, I'm over the moon with what Fernandes has done thus far, but I still think 45k is far too much for us.

Have you not heard what TF has been saying? He said we could've sold 20k season tickets. Add to this a regular 5k members, 5k non-members that haven't been for a while, 10k away fans for a fair few games (Man Utd Chelsea Spurs Arsenal Man C Newcastle West Ham Liverpool) the tourist trade, and there's not much left for growth.

Our current stadium capacity puts us at League 1 status. Fact. Perhaps you would like us to drop down a couple of divisions with no ambition, no growth, and to a level our current ground warrants?
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
