Fans are everything to a football club. Without the fans, a club is nothing. It doesn't matter if were at the Air Asia stadium, or Loftus Road, aslong as we have those loyal fans still supporting us then we will always have our identity.

Stop moaning and support the R's whatever the ground is. I undrestand the fear of global recognition but we will digest it by time.

        Never been happier!

The core of the Championship winning team - Hill, Derry, Mackie, Kenny, Faurlin - have been with us 2 years or so. It's not like these lads were with us for 10 years and now we're kicking them to the curb. It was Kenny's choice to leave (he could have stayed on as reserve keeper), Hill and Mackie have new contracts, Faurlin and possibly Derry are staying. Buzz was offered a new contract, but looks like he turned it down. And I don't think anyone shed a year for Vine, Agyemang etc leaving.

We'll never lose our spirit - if the likes of Mackie etc leave at some point in the future, we'll be sad naturally but we won't feel it as much, as we'll have established a new core of the team - Green, Samba (?), Park, Cisse!!!

        Onwards and upwards boys!

          Great post.
Moving forward is the way to go if we want to grow.
I love LR but if a proper stadium, trophies and players on high salaries is what we want then we have to pay the price somehow. We're still be lil ol QPR just bigger and as long as I know I've supported QPR all my life I don't really care what anybody (incl newbies) thinks.

I agree with everything that has been said about the the club and the ground, but its the people who run the club, and the supporters that make it what it is, we are already playing in Jim Gregory's dream stadium..!! without his vision and ambition we wouldn't be here now..!! I've been here a long time, since the days when the dressing rooms used to be in the Ellerslie road stand and the South Africa road stand was a mud heap with a tea hut on it..!!! this is progression and we have to except and embrace it, but also learn the lessons of others mistakes. Look at Coventry for instance, they have a great stadium, but they have been run badly now look where they are..!! What we are looking to do here is lay the foundations for something that will grow and evolve and will stand the test of time and become a self sustaining club, we don't want be to a club like Chelsea, who will drop like a stone when Spudovich pulls his money out of them.
Keep your High balls Low, and your long balls short, and get the front 2 to Play in a Triangle

If you don't move on you get left behind... We are a very long way behind. I fear if we don't make this step then we will just dissapear eventually.

I nearly choked on my prawn sandwich reading this. Change is good provided it's in the right direction. And we are going in the right direction right now...
                come on you r's!

All those things that have been mentioned from the past will always be there, but thankfully it's all history. We aren't doing an MK Dons scenario, our history will always be there.Embrace, enjoy what's happening, it will be great to see our club grow, and maybe get some silverware you never know.

I'm happy.........I remember traipsing out of Loftus Rd after the vauxhall motors game and not even going for a drink on the way back down to the south coast....there was a time when it felt like we had a lot of days like that.....

What's happening now is brilliant..just that feeling of stability and owners who seem generous but sensible......I know that when the day comes and I have to leave Loftus Rd for the last time it will be sad but this is progress and I'm looking forward to it.....

How can anyone not like the way our club is going!?

I was born in 76 and started supporting the R's in the early 80's and have been to lots of shitholes like Luton & Layer Road. Watched us lose to Southend and Vauxhall Motors and even as recently as last seasons capitulation at the cottage. I will always remember these days and will smile as we move onto bigger and better things. I will also remember great days from the past like 4-4 at Port Vale in 96 and new years day in 92 at Old Trafford. Things changes, times change. We will become a premier league force, that I'm sure of. As we build the hunger for bigger things will continue and I firmly believe that in the not too distant future our "little" club won't be so little and the likes of Man Utd won't want to sell us players anymore.

Welcome good times, we love you!!
