Reports from Sky Sports journalist that Newcastle in for Hoillet and that he prefers them to Sunderland. No mention of us. Hope the rumours of him having signed are true. If he hasn't signed I think Newcastle will get him if they want him.

I have to admit I'm with Mellow on this 1: I think he is onto bigger and better things than us currently. I know we are ambitious and, in a few years, we will be (hopefully!) a comfortable top half PL side, but as things stand, we are a relatively small club and are yet to establish ourselves in the PL. JH has the ability to be, easily, playing European football so I would be very suprised if he came to us.... Pleasently, I might add, as he is a quality player!

Not holding my breath on this one though - think he'll end up at Newcastle, personally.

The only reason he would join us is for cold hard cash. Other teams have baulked at his £70k wage demands and you have to wonder how sustainable it would be for us to pay that.
