well done pelicori tap in or screamer you scored
Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

absolutely, a tap in against Exeter or a tap in against Man U are the same, both count the same

does mean that the lad gets in the right place & the right time, lets all hope he turns out to be a good'n

Looked good the moment he came and always looked like he would score.Good positional play, composed and hard working, better player than dex. Scoring on his debut, you cant ask for more than that, and it wasnt a tap in.

Sorry but how is this a tap in?

              9th picture it is...

If it was a tap in then it would have been a lot closer than that plus it l;ooked like it went through the legs of the goalie.

maybe the picture over exaggerates it though haha. I shall see when the highlights are up.

Looks spectacular but Cait he is only 4 yards out.
Still I won't knock him as he was in the right place and if that gives him confidence to push on that will be great for the club.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

In fairness Cait...that picture makes the goal look far better than it was.

He was only about 4 yards out.

Okay, but who cares how he scores it. If it was any of our other strikers they would have missed :very_sad: Tbh thats what you want a striker to do! How many Yards out it is it doesn't matter if its 20 or 4 yards LOL

No complaints from me at all Cait...they all count mate.

I think he deserves at least a run out at Plymouth. Personally, If they insist on Taarabt up top, I'd like to see them start together as Pellicori give us some steel in the forward line.

I have seen it twice on SSN it may have been 4 yards out, but the ball bounced up in front of him, not too disimilar to the chance that Helguson missed against Blackpool.

Pellicori has now scored 3 goals, including friendlies, in his bit part appearances for QPR. They may have been against lower level sides, but Vine, Helguson & Agyemang have also played against these teams and have scored 1 goal each.

Pellicori may not prove to be the answer, but give him a chance.

Perhaps he can get a starting place in the next 3 games the last on 22 August, so that Magilton can assess him and see if he needs to sign another forward before the end of the August deadline.

As a statistic this also bears out what JM has said about us having goals throughout the team...............and something QBP has said in support of JM's comment, and been abused time and again for saying on here.
So rather than viewing it as Pellicori is the only effective striker, maybe see it as the manager has a point and we may find we have 5 or 6 players beyond the strikers that will get 8 to 12 goals each. More than enough to supplement the strike force.

Have to say I would still like us to bring in a striker, but I also see this from both perspectives as I think we will play a more progressive brand of football this year (similar to under De Canio) where the midfielders really did chip in with their share of goals.
