Hello. I'm a Korean Chelsea fan.

Obviously I have a keen interest in this transfer even if I am not a QPR fan.

1. So all the other Koreans became Manchester United fans because of Park I didn't want to just follow the crowd so I became a Chelsea fan. And as tempting as it is to leave the European Champions and support QPR I think I'll pass again.

2. All that stuff about international superstar and he's going to take QPR to the next level and help the QPR brand in asia it's just marketing I wouldn't take it too seriously. But I do think Ji Sung has been undervalued his whole career and I still think he has a lot to contribute. If you watched him as the captain of the SK national team he was a lot more dynamic than he was at MU. He had to supress his game to a extrent because of the situation he was in. MU needed a role player.

Now does he have weaknesses? Yes, everyone harps about his finishing and yeah he could be better but he does all the little things and I think that kind of stuff is just as important as scoring goals. To use a basketball analogy he's the kind of guy that sets the picks or rebounds or takes charges.

3. All the dog jokes I don't find funny at all but I'm loathe to use the word "racist" because I think that word is being overused.

I mean I could say "Oh you guys say all that stuff about John Terry being a racist then you do dog jokes and all that **** yourselves". It's all such a game at this point, nobody really cares about racism they just want ammunition to hit the other teams with. Oh Suarez said something racist let's come up with a nasty chant to stick Liverpool with.

I mean people are getting arrested on Twitter for saying "racist" things. You want the thought police coming here searching the forums for a innocent (if dumb) koreans eat dogs joke? The problem is minorities have been conditioned by the current liberal school of thought to think of every "racist" comment as the worst thing in the world and intolerable and you should make a big stink about it. As a minority myself I've been through it myself and It think it's time to rethink the whole thing.

So like Eto'o getting racist chants? Intolerable, I agree. But say QPR sign a black player a commenter makes a jokes about fried chicken. Ok dumb but let's just laugh it off. I see all these dog jokes? I'm tempted to pull out the politically correct card and condemn all of you, but you know what? I'm going to try to stop the destructive cycle. I'm not laughing but yeah it's dumb joke let's move on. Slanty eyed, ok getting a bit hot here but I'm just let it pass.

There is a difference between racism and RACISM. If we draw the line so close that people can't even make dumb jokes that it's gone too far. Let's save the outrage for real racists.

Which brings us to John Terry. I haven't seen the video so I guess I can't really comment with authority and there are proabably like 50 Chelsea fans who could argue with lawyer like precision that JT didn't say what they say he said. But let's say he did say that. Ok, just fine/suspend him and move on. I guess it's complicated by the fact that he's saying he's innocent but my god you English people have a talent for dragging this stuff out. And a trial? Really? Ridiculous.

If this was America it would've been resolved in a week. In England it becomes the trial of the century!!

JT has not gotten away with it, his reputation is in tatters, he'll have to live with this for the rest of his life. Ferdinand has gotten a ton of support.

I personally have been a victim of racism, someone painted "CHINK" on our families's mailbox. We called the police and (surprise!) they haven't found the perpetrator. Did anyone give us support and tell us they were sorry it happened? NO. Was the scum who did it eviserated like JT? No. Did any of our white neighbors even bother to say anything supporting us or even spraypaint the racist graffiti off our mailbox (it's like a public mailbox so all our mailboxes are aligned so they saw it too) No. The homeowners association didn't do it, we had to even buy the spray paint OURSELVES.

Point is there are worst acts of racism that goes on. (If) John Terry did that I feel bad for Anton Ferdinand but let's not make it like it's the worst thing in the world. At least he has got the satisfaction of seeing his racist abuser (allegedly, pending trial) get eviserated in the press. I would kill for one billionth of the satisfaction of that.

5. Back to the dog thing. Only vegetarians can claim the moral ground. Any claim that a dog is "better" than a cow or a pig is just superficial reasoning. Just because a animal is furrier and cuter and responds better to humans we're going to make the moral claim that's it's "wrong" to eat it? BS.

I have no problem with eating any animal as long as it's slaughtered humanely. Just the hypocrisy of judging another culture by that, not to mention the fact that Korea is like a 3000 year old culture with a ton of interesting stuff and you're summing it up to we eat a certain animal well that makes me mad.

6. Anyway bye. I'd wish you goodluck but honestly it'd be a lie. I really don't want QPR to have good luck, but I do hope that PJS does great there.
