Why have 30k when we can have 45k? We all gotta remember the ground will be used for lOads of thing. More seats means more money. I don't know anything about contruction but if he was to build 30k now then a extension that would cost more money than just building it in one to rather than having two sets of building plans ect?

Building such a ground will enable us to become a brand rather than just a football club, hiring out the venue for music concerts and all sorts, bringing in additional revenue.
QPR's attendances will increase as QPR's fortunes improve on the Pitch. Look at how Fulham's gates have risen since they won promotion. It wasn't that long ago they were playing at LR in front of 18,000 crowds and now they average 24+.
Fernandes has big plans for QPR, and a new bigger ground is part of these plans. QPR wont be able to fill the new ground at first, but there is a large area in West & North West London and many of the football fans who live there will be tempted to watch QPR once they start winning trophies.

They aren't announcing a ground today. So,what else can it be. Park alone isn't going to turn us into a global brand. Surely got.to be one or two major signings that we don't know about. Or more investment, maybe mittal has bought more shares off tony and is putting more money in. Either way its NOT about the ground.

Half hoping maybe another signing chucked in with Park but I think that's just wishful thinkingYou should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Think about it guys. He says it will make us a truely global brand..... I think it will just be an official press piece on all our signings:
Park - SK legend
Nelson - NZ captain
Fabio - upcoming Brazilian
Diakite - Promising African
Green - England international
Johnson - former England international.
I actually think there may also be a surprise player among them... Could it be Samba or Canadian Hoilett..?

All I'm saying is that we need a ground that can be extended if need be, not one where it's impossible like we have now.
I hear that there's a 10 year waiting list for ST's at WHL, everything grows.
