Building such a ground will enable us to become a brand rather than just a football club, hiring out the venue for music concerts and all sorts, bringing in additional revenue. You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

TF was quoted by Reuters that we could've sold 20,000 season tickets. Add in 5,000 for away supporters and 5,000 for members/non-members gives 30,000. This will mean the stadium will be a third empty to begin with. We've played with a less busier ground before.
However, this leaves 15,000 for expansion of our fanbase and overseas visitors, so about the right size.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
