The FA will act accordingly, dependent on the judge's decision. They wil have to hand him a hefty fine/ban, at least comparable to Suarez.

Beyond that Terry's reputation will be in tatters if he is convicted, sponsors won't want to touch him, and he'd be forever known as convicted racist John Terry.

Far more damaging than any fine/ban from the FA tbf.

I'm far from convinced he will be convicted, but I hope the right decision is made. If he didn't actually say what we think he said, I wouldn't want him convicted just because of who he is, and who he plays for.

Terry has no reputation or indeed no shame.......having said that ...may I congratulate you on a well reasoned and level headed post....

You don't think the conviction would bother him?

Indeed £2.5k is maximum fine if found Guilty. Pathetic & peanuts to him.
BUT, IF found Guilty it gives the FA carte blanche to charge him and he 'should' get MORE than suarez 8 game ban. Possibly closer to a 'Joey'.
Why ? Because he denied it/lied, whereas Suarez 'fessed up.

Of course, if (as I suspect & fear) he is found NOT Guilty, the FA can sweep it under the carpet and do nothing. As they have no chance in proving it, if CPS can't.

Absolutely, Not Guilty and there's nothing that the FA can or indeed should do.

terry will get off, the hearing will be a farce they will never find him guilty as the potential trouble it could cause at grounds up and down the country, he is adored at chelsea so wont be that bothered as he has made his money , he recently bought a big gaff in the roehampton to go to rental and apparently has many properties so hes not skint , the joke of it is if it had been me or u charged with it we would have been to court last year but its 1 law for the rich 1 for the rest of us , terry is a wrong un never liked him as a man but a great footballer

Imagine if the hearing took place before we played Chelscum this coming season, and the judge had delivered his verdict saying "you, Mr.Terry, are guilty, and you will receive a custodial sentence after the QPR game". Then we could've sung "going down, going down, going down..."

If I was the governor of the prison I'd put him on greenhouse duties
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Well it must bother him a little i suppose otherwise he'd have pleaded guilty and paid up his £2,500, but i don't think it'll bother him the way you think, and we'll see him in sack cloth and ashes, prob just get a pr team to make it go away
