  • What ground in the world would you love us to be like???

What the Allianz Arena has the home of Bayern Munich.

The stadium lights up in the home colours when the team is at home.

Imagine that by the Unigate site as thousands of cars drive past on the A40. Would be an icon in London town???

Could be blue and white hoops for us!
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

I've been to a lot of ground around the world, but i can't think of one that I would love us to be like.

The German grounds always look good on the tv.

Madejski, Reading, my favourite. The ecoustics are good and excellent view from anywhere in ground.

This stadium is pretty decent for it's size and has a quality atmosphere http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estadi_...%C3%A0-El_Prat

Allianz Arena and the Amsterdam Arena are both superb too.

We definitely need to follow the newly deigned European stadiums- close to the pitch, enclosed and keeps so much noise in. Juventus have an incredible ground now...

We need to be avoiding these sorts of grounds IMO- but agree the view is good no matter where you are.

The ground can just as easily be lifeless with no atmosphere- which is the best bit about Loftus Road and the one thing we absolutely have to make sure comes with us.

Reading is awful. Just like Hull, Leicester, Southampton, Derby etc. Dull. We want something innovative and iconic.

i think if you are looking for inspiration, you need to look to the continent and beyond for ideas regarding a new stadium, not here in the UK

If the club are looking at capacity of 35k then some of those smaller stadiums in Euro2012 wouldn't be a bad starting point, seems eastern Europeans base their stadiums more Germanic in construction than the bowls preferred by our gaelic cousins.

On the light theme we should have a signal straight up into the night sky with the badge and sponsor. Like the bat signal to be seen across town...

Would look the nuts and also act as a message to any potential walk up fans we have a game that night so come along.

Something like the beam from the Vegas Luxor hotel which can be seen from space should suffice.... Not sure what air traffic safetly would say mind!!
