How stupid must the supporters of other clubs must be feeling at present who have continually mocked and taken the **** out of us over the past season. Anyone who follows other teams message boards have witnessed how these supporters have continually put words into the mouths of QPR fans claiming we believe in our own superiority that we are destined for great things and will be in the champions league within a few seasons. When all the time we have sat here and never claimed a thing, not one supporter across all our message boards have claimed we are a big club with great aspirations yet here we sit on the verge of something special with owners who others claimed were all mouth and will not be interested in what was good for the club and it fans. Some of the things said about our club by supporters of other clubs has been nothing short of a disgrace backed with unsubstantiated facts, lazy journalism and the wild assumptions….a large slice of humble pie is nearly ready to take out of the oven methinks!!!!!
Am I getting ahead of myself I don't think so….it's clear our owners ambition clearly outweighs that of the supporters of this club when normally it is the other way around. This is becoming a fairytale whereby we as supporters of QPR are presently pinching ourselves to work out whether or not we are dreaming at present.
Certain clubs supporters deserve a mention.
Stoke for their unprovoked hatred towards us
West Ham supporters and there wrong assumptions regarding Tony Fernandes.
Swansea city for their unprovoked hatred towards us deluded by their own superiority that they have reinvented the football wheel with their unpenetrative style of football who punched well above their weight last season…..relegation fodder!
Norwich city for their determination to see us stripped of our league title despite not having all the facts regarding the Faurlin saga. Not to mention their continuing bitterness towards us, taking every piece of a lazy journalism as fact for the basis of slating our club even further. Also their wrong assumptions regarding Tony Fernandes
Fulham supporters who have to have a special mention; These ***** had apparently given us the nickname of the "bitters" through the years due to our apparent resentment of them becoming an established premiership team. They enjoyed revelling in their 6-0 defeat against a disjointed QPR side and we let them have that. Then when Mark Hughes come on board they mocked us for believing we had "ambition" despite at the time 99% of QPR fans not having a clue what they were going on about which now appears to be slightly ironic given the recent turn of events. One look at their Cottage Corner forum demonstrates their obsession with us resentment and bitterness.
Anyone got anything else to add...
