Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes

Our history and traditions will never be forgotten, but it's time to move up a gear and into 21st century global sports. Like it or not, sports teams have gone global. Look at the likes of Man Utd and Real Madrid. They bag a lot of money through overseas business.
For me, this is a whole new chapter in the history of our club. We've almost gone bust on a number of occasions, lost our best players, suffered relegations, and I don't want to go through all that ever again. This is an opportunity to put our club on the map, attract new supporters, and build a viable future for our club. I'm a 47 year old bloke and I'm behaving like a kid at Christmas

Pompey took out loans. QPR have about 4 rich people investing for the future ( Tony, Amit, Ruben, Din) when we have a big ground and are big in Asia they will lap up the profitsUnder Les Ferdinand:

Don't want to sound like an old misery guts but have always been excited supporting QPR. That tingle in the tummy as you see the ground when walking down SAR is as strong today as a 49 year old as it was when I first went in'76. During the 'dark years' when we couldn't beat an egg every game was exciting cos you always felt this would be 'the one' when the great turnaround would happen and our fortunes would change.
Now if you ask if I've ever been more optimistic.....no, I haven't. This is probably the most positive I've ever felt supporting QPR. Can't help but feel this is gonna be a good season for us!
