I think to maximise any marketing potential for a sponsor it needs to be a single word so people then call it by that brand, such as the 02, Emirates, Etihad etc..... examples such as The Sports Direct Arena dont have the same affect... yeah we're going down the Sports Direct...

One of the main reasons the experts make against Newcastle being able to generate big sponsorship money is a) its not a new stadium so will still be known by most people as St James's Park b) its not in london and c) the fans are kicking up a fuss. Hopefully none of those will apply to us.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

London is the world's top city and west London is the best part of it. I wouldn't be surprised if it is built with lots of restaurants and bars, like the O2. I know the council is keen to promote what they call the 'night time economy'.

More seriously there is big scope for that. lets face it most of those kebab shops etc around the bush are dumps and havent caught up with all the rich folk moving west from notting hill etc. have thought for years the club was rubbish at maximising revenue. i always seem to be starving at a match because being in a hurry to get there i dont get a chance to eat but when you arrive you face a long queue for a rat burger. better facilities/ shops etc wd make it much easier for dads like me to get the kids to come and make it more of a day out.
