I think everyone knows my opinion of Mackie <3 But even if we do sign Hoilett I still don't think Mackie would leave just yet anyway.

And if he goes anywhere, I doubt it will be to West Ham, scum
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

Why? Mackie can play left, right or upfront. Having that in a 25 man squad is invaluable!

                Keepers: Green, Murphy, Cerny.

Defenders: Hill, Traore, Young, Anton, Onuoha, Fabio, Nelsen.

Midfielders: Diakite, Derry, Taarabt, Faurlin, Barton, Hogan, SWP, Mackie, Smith.

Strikers: DJ, Bothroyd, Hulse, Helguson, Cisse, Zamora, Johnson.

                That's 26 players.

We've got 3 players who can play left back, 4 central defenders, 3 right backs. A lot of those are versatile players though. We still need to add a central defender in my opinion and that's with none of them leaving.

Hogan, Smith and SWP are all likely to be sold before Mackie.

DJ, Bothroyd, Hulse and Helguson are all likely to be offered around to see if we can shift them on and bring in another striker.

It's going to be a busy transfer window outgoing and i can see Hogan, Smith, DJ, Bothroyd, Hulse and Helguson all leaving permanently or on loan which would bring our squad to 20 players and allow us to bring in a better quality player.

Smith out for Park, Hogan out for Hoilett, one of the strikers out to supplement a defender and another striker out for a better striker.

We're favourites in both the markets out there for Hoilett, heavy favs with betvictor- the german side are 16/1 with them, newcastle are nerest to use with sky having them at 3's and bet victor 6's, does seem like bet victor are fairly convinced with how short we are and how long everyone else is!
