I think it's more likely to announce a new player from an international background (more than likely Park) because this is more likely to make u into a global brand than moving stadium, people in Asia won't be bothered if we're moving to a new stadium half a mile down the road.

How about new Investors / Sponsors? Can't believe that any player whatever the nationality will suddenly turn us into a Global Brand...

I think you're underestimating how big a player Park is in Asia.. would be massive for the brand, and to say he's not a great signing is ridiculous, any player from a club like man utd is a massive player, would be quality for us

I'd better get up in the loft and find my old Tae-kwon-do stuff to brush and on my Korean, can;t remember being taught any swear words though
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

Exactly, for anyone who doesn't know Park is as big as David Beckham was in England in his prime. Massive signing for QPR, not just off the field but on it too!
                  Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                  And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Could be right, in F1 Sponsors come with drivers.

                    It could happen in football?

Exactly. People need to consider for a minute that Asia is probably the biggest market out there, and Park is their most succesful player. Not only has he been a success, but he's done it in the most popular league, for the most popular club, winning leagues and Champions league, and playing in the big games along the way. That is massive for them. He is a superstar in that part of the world and will pay for himself.

Just like nobody abroad bought a Beckham shirt after he left Utd????

Over there certain players have a fan base all of their own, and they'll buy their shirts for whatever teams. PArk is a superstar over there and will bring huge attention to QPR and marketing rewards along with it.

On the theme of 'global brand', I have a feeling the Air Asia plane painted in QPR colours will get a mention at the press conference too.
