I hope any new ground is going to be built with development in mind rather than just building a 40,000 seater stadium, I think 27,000 with room to add a new tier of say 8-12,000 in stages would be a good way to go about it.

Hopefully it will be fairly close to Loftus Road.

Onwards and Upwards seems to fit with the current owners.
TF was talking in the region of 40-45k. I for one would like us to do the whole job in one go. Besides, we've beaten those ponces from SW6 to a new stadium.

No interest whatsoever in shiny new stadiums for reasons given at length elsewhere.

All I want is a decent CB and a couple of full backs who can actually defend. I'd seriously forego a new stadium for a solid defence, it could even be a better investment since it would protect status. The stadium can wait.

so we sign a CB and a couple of FB, then fall foul of new Uefa sustainability rules, then have to get rid of. We need to improve income as a % of outgoings.

And that will all come my friend. The board is building the infrastructure and MH is building the team. He's been given the money to do the job and I'm sure he will. Keep the faith.

                    TF:

"Excellent stadium meeting. Wow. Looks great. Going to make big announcment. Hopefully see amit in a few hours to brief him. Wow"
"Stadium will be in west london. Will not lose overall atmosphere. Lots to do and many pitfalls but great first step."

                    Yess! What a great guy
"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

I will but I can't help wondering how the debt is going to be structured....

They are guidelines and not enforceable, and certainly couldn't be enforced retrospectively.

How the **** does building a new stadium improve income as % of outgoings?

There's the sale of our old ground in a residential area, sponsorship and naming rights, increased revenue with an increased capacity, and we got rich owners

My guess is 40k seater on the BBC site. No reasoning behind this, just a guess out of the options being banded around
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

For all those doubting Thomases who stopped believing in Father Christmas, well you're all wrong. He does exist and his name is Tony Fernandes

a new stadium with a bigger capacity will generate more income. QPR will never move forward at a tiny old ground.

The stadium is going to be at least 2 seasons away, chill out. Plans have just been made.
