I love Art Deco architecture so would be sad to see something really cool having to make way for our new abode so would be nice if they could some save or incorporate it into the design... If not then so be it but just a thought....

Blimey reading some of the quotes from TF makes one realise just how lucky we are to have him at the helm when you consider the autocratic and arrogant buffoons that proceeded him its like a different world.... I really like the team behind the scenes he has assembled too... Rigg, Beard et al and Amit and a whole host of others are not the sort of people who will tolerate failure... They are not having us in the ECL or anything to extravagant just yet as they know that we need to be in our new stadium before we are really in a position to nudge the top 4 however, there is no way on this earth we will flirt with relegation next season.... We'll be comfortably top half and they know any sort of half decent cup run will have us creaming ourselves....

I have every faith under this new regime....

re your comment about top four - if you notice fernandes is always exceptionally modest and sets no targets (at least in public). i dont think he or the board sees us challenging for the top half just yet, still less even thinking about top four. my reading of the situation is they see next season as all about consolidation and modest improvement. Cd be wrong and be blown away by a couple of amazing signings but think these are people who wd take more pleasure doing it the "right" way, long term and fairly slowly.

You are probably right Stainrod. Alternatively, it could just be that they are not the types to make rash statements or say anything to make themselves look good. Much better to "over-achieve" and be "surprised and delighted", showing a bit of dignity along the way.
