Good move for both parties, decent lad and OK footballer. Hope this comes off and provides more funds. Maybe we can offer Ron Hulse as a "sweetener"...

But I thought he was another who signed a new deal at the end of last season - or was it like Buzz, deal offered but bot signed?

He did sign an extension. If any truth in it, probably a loan. We went down that route with Clint Hill last season. It worked a treat for him.

I expect hughes gave ephraim a contract to look at him.. being as young as he is.. you dont want to let players his age go for nothing especially if you haven't seen then enough to cast a judgement.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
              Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

Hogan is 24, he first played for us in 2007. Don't think that counts as 'young' anymore. He just still looks about 12

I really rate Hogan, I hope this is a loan but wouldn't blame him if he wanted to leave

                  Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                  And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

24 and still looking well short of the first team that is improving faster than he is. No point being sentimental. He has a fair amount going for him but he has never quite made it.

Don't believe it. Forest are currently in talks with a takeover so they won't be signing anyone yet and Hogan signed a new contract in the summer. He'll spend pre-season with us.
