There is an unintentionally hilarious blog by a Hammers fan you can see on News Now complaining about them signing "James Mackie" for a million pounds, though noting erronously that he scored a "creditable" 16 goals last season (if he had scored 16 goals having recovered from a broken leg, missed a fair number of games altogether, played the entire season either off the bench or right midfield it would have been more like a miracle, but we will let that pass...) but then going on to complain that West Ham were trying to do it on the cheap by buying players only worth a million quid. If you ever think one or two posters on here are clueless (mentioning no names) you should read it for a laugh - makes you realise all clubs have 'em...

Mackie is going nowhere.......I subscribe to the theory that if a player is used to model the coming seasons kit, he is staying put.
