i only read the bbc feed on saturday as corfu's internet is abit rubbish..

couldnt believe the chance's i saw just now.. abit late and am sorry but if that wasn't a clear example of us needing a striker then i dont know what is.

we have everything else it seems, id go as far to say that any1 like nugent, beckford or even clinton morrison makes our team that much better.

helguson and vine's misses was jaw dropping and okay, first game but both chances fell on a plate to our highly considered 2 "best strikers" at the club.

i wanted the sale of blackstock however that was in hope we would sign a finisher. all we need is a poacher.. somebody on the last man who will put his foot in.

looking forward to going to QPR - Forest, as my mate has just had a baby girl and i must buy them a QPR baby kit for the nipper otherwise i know a friend will get a watford one!

I agree. The chances missed were sitters and I also was happy enough to cash in on Blackstock, but wanted a good replacement signed.

If QPR don't adequately replace Blackstock, then I can see just as many dropped points as last season.

Helguson couldn't hit a cow's #### with a banjo at present (maybe 2 injury hit seasons in Bolton's reserves have taken their toll on him).

Vine has never been prolific, but I don't think he will miss those type of chances too often.

QPR could try and buy Earnshaw or perhaps if Phillips is fit, he might consider joining QPR on loan, because I don't think he will get many games in the Prem League.
