if this comes off i think it will be a clever signing.....what nobody has mentioned yet is it could be leading to one up top with a very fast and creative midfield....
with the likes of Tarrabt,Routlege & Santos the defenders will have to go 2 or 3 up to try and stop them,thus creating more time and space for the lone striker....

Despite my earlier poll I personally wouldn't be too quick to dismiss the rumour on 5 counts

1) We need a striker
2) We can afford his wages
3) We already have Taarabt from Spurs on loan
4) Arry and Paladini are apparently mates
5) Magilton had him at Ipswich


Though I do wish the rumour had come from a more realiable source like WALKONBY.

i got burned over lucarelli which i would consider a in the middle sauce

Gio is an amazing talant and a proven player at a much higher level than any of our players..I've been following him for 3years now. His skills in the under20 championship in Canada was awesome and he is much more of a striker/forward than a midfielder. Reminds me a bit of players like romario, saviola&agüero. Look for yourself on youtube. There are some great clips of him.

Remember the kid is only 20years and spurs have been wasting his talent and using him out of position a lot. Nevermind his goal-ratio..look at his touch, his speed&control. NEVER compare him to Ledesma&Parejo!!

Would be an amazing signing and if true it would make a big difference on how I look at the season ahead.
