The New airtight QPR

I am stuck in 2 minds as to whether I like that fact that NO ONE outside of QPR knows anything about our transfer dealings, this is a good thing as hopefully they will get done and dusted before reported on sky and before other clubs get the chance to come in!
However it does make for a boring summer with no rumours and the ones you do hear you know are a pile of crop :=):

With pre training due to start next Monday...lets hope all the transfers are finalised by then....but wont be as per norm !

It's definitely a good thing in terms of professionalism and also ensuring that we get the best players available to us but I know what you mean, it is a little boring. Obviously we do still get some info passed down, I mean we all knew about Johnson, Fabio and Diakite long before they were announced on the official site, I just think now things aren't getting leaked until they are as good as done!

They did say they would try get everything done before! i Think most the perm signings will be done before the tour! and maybe just get a loan or two after

I know what you mean, it did used to be quite entertaining hearing all the rumours coming out. But, weighing it up, I know Id certainly sacrifice that for a stable club thats run properly and efficiently without any leaks.

I've always loved the rumours & that was the reason I signed up for this forum years ago, but I don't think it can be a bad thing the names aren't getting out

I remember the days when we didn't find out about a player joining until it was in the morning newspaper. I use to turn up to do my paper round and find out Parkes had gone to West Ham, Bowles was off to Forest or Currie had signed from Leeds, depending on the news I got depended on how people got their papers delivered.

Thats what i was thinking, cause there are no rumours and just paper talk am getting the feeling alot of our sights are set too high!

Look at Jan and when we was meant to sign Tevez, that was clearly a load of bollacks

One good thing is that Girouds comments show that maybe we are in for decent players its just convincing them

I prefer it the way it is now just saying that the summers wont be as fun

Sometimes its better to get a player we all say who the ffs is that and start pounding the wiki keys i.e Daikite who turns out to be a gem. Like so hearing rumours that little ole QPR are getting jaw dropping players like Cessi.
So yeah looking forward to more surprises is better.
