drunkyest time ever
well being drunk at football games was part of the fun first of all lets go back to the middle seventies
at that time drink driving wasnt so hot so we all did it and even if a old bill stopped you he might let you off if you spoke nicely to him
so at this time the norwich game was fast approaching and we all felt if we could win that we may take the league title for the first time in our history
driving there was amazing there were thousands of qpr fans all with blue and white scarfs hanging out of the windows
many on this site hate any mention of hooliganism so lets just say there were not many pubs left with windows in them and this was before the game even kicked off
800 plus thugs were supporting the rangers, and poor norwich were horrified
but ive never got more drunk in my life i was in a terrible state, the bloke who i drove down with was so worried HOW WILL WE GET HOME HE SAID
me being parraletic just shrugged my shoulder and said
ITT WILL BE OK
but i did feel very worried
we sat in the seat
NORTHOLT HERE WE COME
so we took off i was kangerooing all over the place but I got to epping forest, and then the car broke down
some how we got to a central line station and we travelled the whole length of the line,by the time we actually got to northolt station we were exhausted and heartbroken we knew that the loss of the game had finished all our dreams ,and never ever again would we have a chance to get so many full internationals in one team so a very sad time
