I don't reckon fabio will be rb Alex ferguson wants him as a lb at Manu do why would he send his prospect lb to go play as a rb?

I would be amazed if the most significant signing we make this summer is not a CB. Theres plenty of time but the back 4 is a serious issue imo, and I don't really see how Fabio helps that much. Not like he's a byword for solid defending.

Unless Hughesy is going to play Fabio left back, Onouha right back and try to bring in this big Senegalise or AN other for the number 5 slot next to Anton?

It's very tough. I stopped only yesterday but been to Boots for the smoking clinic thingy and got a load of nicotine sprays and inhalators, so I'm doing it the cowards way

But well done to you. Keep it going mate.

Thats why its so important for qpr to regain there academy and build there own training ground, we simply can't compete with prem league teams at the moment in that department. Southamptons set up beats Fulhams imo, and if your a lad from abroad and you see the training facilities and the new ground you will be impressed and sign for the club.

We got our left-back yesterday and we already got Traore - the lad wants games and he's guaranteed games there.

That is probably the most sane way of looking at it, there a big defensive question marks right now. The problem with wing backs is that precious few can really do both jobs, the best solution is to make your wide man come from midfield and then defenders can get on with doing what they're supposed to do ie defend.

Yes, I know the Spanish backs started pushing right up once the result was in no doubt, but its interesting that in the competition up to then pace and width came from either Navas or Pedro, both of who are old skool wingers. The old boy is no mug.

Wingbacks are the curse of modern football etc
