Wilkins of course, but don't forget the brilliant David Bardsley, with some fantastic cross field passes.

i passed the ball back one when in came into SAR...i've got a 100% success record to a rangers man.

As soon as I read the title of this thread my reaction was Masson. Currie and Wilkins make up my top 3.

ive never seen passes like it

who do you think is the greatest ever passer of the ball,to play for qpr
Spot on. Inch perfect cross field passes that would totally switch play from one wing to another. The quality of the football played by that 1975/6 team was incredible. Never seen anything like it from any other Rangers team and very few other British sides EVER. Masson was superb from set pieces too.

Micky Fillery was indeed underrated... managed to put one of the bulbs out in the scoreboard at the School End with one of his "magical" free kicks... and it stayed put out.. for years...

Don Masson and Tony Currie both great passers of the ball. You cant compare Faurlin with Don Masson for the reason that they have different games. Firstly Masson could not tackle nor put his foot in where it hurts where as Faurlin does and protects the back four in doing so. Faulins game is to break the others sides game down, to be an outlet for the back four and he gives to others in short passes. Masson was there to receive the ball and spray passes around bringing others into the game or setting up the break aways but currently now serving up the great British fry up breakfast.

In fairness Masson was a few years before my time so cant really compare but Currie for me was up there with any England midfielder I've seen for passing. A few years later people rated Hoddle very highly (and rightly so) but I think Currie had just as much raw ability - maybe a bit more wayward off field, not too sure.
