Within next 5-10 years I can see us qualifying for Europe, maybe producing some
home grown talent, expanding the stadium, becoming known a bit more across the globe, having a youth setup we can be proud of, and being taken seriously by other clubs and the media. I want my sons to support a club that everyone knows about, at my secondary school I was the only kid out of 1000 that supported QPR, maybe by the time my boys are that age their schools will have a few more QPR fans than mine did

hammersmith - according to these stats you are wrong mate..
As you can see these records only go up to 2005.I can add Dean ashton.rob green, carlton cole, kieron dyer(played once while with us)scott parker and matthew upson.Making a total of 37 hammers.Remember this is players who were actually capped whilst playing at your club..Over to you ...

A QPR fan criticising West Ham's academy surely is on thin ice..... Our 'academy' over the last years have been based on bringing in average italians due to Paladini's recommendation.
But saying that you pick a chairman based on the way he supports his team is very, very deluded too - if thats the case there wouldn't be many clubs around the world that would avoid liquidation. A chairman should be a wise, entrepreneurial, know the culture of the game and be approachable to the fans(like you said hammer) just as TF is. As I am not familiar with Sullivan and Gold's way of handling things over at your place I won't comment on how their acting a chairman of West ham.

Can't argue with you mate on that explanation.
What I would say though is that I doubt either TF or Amit Bhatia were ever close to being fans of QPR prior to their involvement, by by god, they are now. They have the bug mate.
What they may lack in Football experience, they more than make up for in Business experience, decency, honesty and a desire to do the right things in the right way, in order to make us successful. And I for one believe that they are going to deliver in a most spectacular way over the years ahead. And the majority of R's fans can see already that they are well on the way. Even just by looking at the calibre of behind the scenes personnel they have brought in to achieve these goals.
I have no animosity towards West Ham at all, but I doubt that in 5 years you will be anywhere near the level we are at.
Lets not forget that our local rivals are both established premier league clubs and therefore West Ham will never be seen as great rivals or disliked that much. I'd stick to baiting Orient fans if I were you.

Actually West Ham were about the one London club that Ive never disliked (not counting the clubs you dont really think about from one year to the next like Orient, Brentford, Charlton and prob Millwall other than for their #### fans). But I did go off them when I read some blog by a West Ham fan who seemed to write about us pretty well every day and it cropped up on the "news now qpr" search so you cdnt get away from it. tbf some west ham fans started attacking him and asking him why he was so obsessed. but the way he was convinced we wd go down and was longing for us to implode and his obvious jealousy and sense of entitlement did little to enhance the previous good reputation of west ham. for all this qpr v west ham talk i wd say that both clubs prob have more in common traditionally than some wd like to admit...

What worries me atm is this bubble every single Rangers fan lives in, what if TF suddenly reveals what really is (if there is anything) behind this ideal display of a football club (which as we speak seems perfect) - and has set this whole club in new debts to his investors from Malaysia, Thailand or whichever country they are from - these thoughts are running through my mind every time a see a comment of us now being a 'big football club'. We are not a big football club, our club is far away from standing on it's own feet, without the money Swordfish Investments (Amit, Mittal & co), TF and the asian investors has put into our club we would be in serious debt(based on what wages we were and are paying out). We need a solid infrastructure, we are too big for our own shoes as we speak - we seriously need that new stadium and we need to improve our position in the Premier League if any of the shareholders are going to get any revenue of the money they've invested. What I realised after watching Amit speak today was how far we have to go before we can call ourselves a 'big and stable football club' and the journey there will have it's ups and downs but if Tony does what he's kept on saying I definately think we can reach our destination.
