You could also mention to him that Newcastle is in the north east. They're considered a northern club and not an eastern club like Norwich is. It's the first initial ie 'N' that counts, and the same with Chelski, where the 'S' comes first.

would imagine they would get top dollar for the land at Griffin Park, whereas the land at Lionel Rd. is pretty well run down. Not the easiest place to get to though

In a previous life I spent a lot of time negociating with Barratt West London and BFC about a move to Lional Rd as the origional plan was for the developer to buy Brentfords present ground and build houses and flats on it and in return they would finace a new ground just down the road

Obviously the housing market crash and the lack of building locally has put the club in a strong position to buy the Lional Rd site themselves and hopefully they can now find the finance to build a new stadium
