      If Brendan Rodgers can't convice him to sign for Liverpool after playing for him for half of last season the Liverpool board must be questioning thier decision to hire Rodgers...

        Didnt Rogers make an agreement not to buy any Swansea players (including Sigurdsson) for 2 years?

          Seems a bit odd for a club to buy a player when they haven't appointed a new manager yet

            He's not a Swansea player though Matty. Rodgers did say that, but also that he would be interested, IF his proposed move to Swansea didn't come off.

            Would be very surprised if this were true as they have no manager in place.

              Lpool must be gutted with such a deal thuogh, I mean theyre losing out on the chance to buy such quality players as Alan Tate and Nathan Dyer
