Rooney world class, not sure. Ronaldo at club level has achieved far more than Rooney but still doubts linger whether even Ronaldo is within that band of "world class", Ronaldo has however clearly got himself together in this tournament and is now justifying his inclusion. Meanwhile Rooney looked unfit and didn't really contribute much when he did play. Don't get me wrong, I think Rooney is a great player but to be labelled world class you either have to be a messi and it's non-negotiable or you set an international tournaments alight.

Evrybody would agree Messi is 'World Class' but not seen him have too many match winning performances in tournament games for Argentina? Are we saying to be World Class you have to do it for club and country? If so Messi would not be!Comment
