Tony stated in an interview that was published less than a week ago that we are not selling Adel. As I see it, either it is clueless reporters or just his agent trying to negotiate some better wages. And I'm confident that it is the latter.

which rumours? it feels it's been an unusually quiet summer adel-wise... some wolfsburg stuff 4 or 5 weeks ago, the "i don't want to play with j barton"/"i do want to play with j barton" debacle, but none of the usual french league, spanish league noise that we've had for the past couple of years. -

A french paper said this a few days ago ( It's been translated so some of it might not make any sense):

If he is under contract until June 2013, if Rangers want to keep him, they need to negotiate a new contract now, otherwise they risk him leaving on a free transfer at the end of next season.Comment

Will his two goals and three assists be missed and in all honesty, Traore is a better option on the left. With two from Cisse, Zamora and Johnson up from, he won't be playing behind a striker, which IMO is his best position.
Happy for him to stay at W12 as his attitude appears to have changed massively, but where will he play and will he be happy sitting on the bench ?Comment

maybe wolfsburg will bid for him... he'd suit bundesliga football to be honest.
whatever, we can't stop teams bidding for our players any more than other teams can stop us bidding for theirs, but there's no rule that says we have to accept those bids either.
