We're playing like a 'Premiership side' now... No more clueless and panick passing. The youngsters Welbeck, Chamberlain, Walcott etc will be key for us. England to win the Euro's!!!! Come on England! :yush: :drunk: :=):"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

IMO, apart from the first game Italy have been poo, Spain have been way below par and were reslly awful last night, Portugal looked decent but are a one player team and Germany are Germany. England may not win the tournament, but what is their to fear ?Last edited by paulmason; 24-06-2012, 08:18 AM.

I'm not exactly the biggest patriot about but I have back to England to win tonight
I am yet he even get excited with the Euros and England's chances of winning it but what I've seen is a team not playing great and getting results. Too much in the past we have looked at individual talents playing for the country as to what they can achieve for the team in taking us all the way in a major football tournament. This time round Woy has turned us into an industrious outfit capable of grinding out results. Maybe it's because I have not left my house to watch England game or read the newspapers that I have felt no excitement or expectation even at this point in time for England to go all the way. England are not only due a good performance in this tournament but they are also due a win in the quarter-final of a major tournament and the way I see it today's game is evenly matched and could go either way. The Italians ironically are a more attacking outfit whom we will try to pick off on the break where as England will play deep and maintain a strong line across the back 4 and through the middle of the park. There will be one goal in it and I've backed England and Gerrard to get the winnerLast edited by W12_Ranger; 24-06-2012, 11:52 AM.
