Are the length of the contracts handed out so far by my calculations to the vets we've been signing (or extending their contracts)

If anyone cares to add together their years of PL experience feel free

Hardly worth getting your knickers in a twist over, its good business if anything.

The thing is, the people running our club know what they're doing, unlike the previous mob....
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Seems very shrewd to me. No fee involved so no cost to spread over these contracts either.

I think this is a sign of the current owners learning some lessons from the way the previous regime did business. Tony Fernandes has inherited players like Rob Hulse, Patrick Agyemang, Rowan Vine and Gary Borrowdale who were all signed on contracts that were far too long (and in some cases being well overpaid). These sort of players have no place in the club as it is at present and would have been allowed to leave a long time ago had it been possible to get shot of them.

The current regime has done the right thing here, if we are signing players in their 30's on a free transfer with high salaries then we need to protect ourselves by ensuring that they are not still going to be on the payroll when they inevitably reach the point of not being up to Premiership football anymore.

With the fact that there trying to build for the future and there are many postions we need to strenghten in and as it is not possible to sign everyone you want straight away, you need to find good quality temps.

If we dont you are going to spends 10's of millions on rushed signings were some may turn out rubbish, doing it the way MH is, gives him time to improve the team over a few seasons with quality players while searching for younger and better ones.

Fans that say they are not impressed have forgotten how people said the same two years ago when we signed Derry, Hill and Kenny, these are the same people like sending others peoples money as they want us to rush and buy a brand new team.

We have to trust MH and trust that he will use the money provided well and use it to build a team up over the next few years, its all exciting times and i for one think all our 3 signings are improvements on what we have and will help us as a club move forwards to the bnext level.
