I think Mark Hughes must be looking at back ups first b4 going for proper signings i for 1 is not fussed if koncesky comes in as cover for traore.

He is ok or at least was, until he went to Liverpuke.

He would not be replacing Traore, because I think, like many of us, Hughes rates him higher as a left sided midfielder/winger than a left back.

My concern is at paying £1M for a 31 year old left back who is not anywhere near his peak.

If Fabio is signing he will be 1st choice, and I don't see the point in buying Konchesky to provide cover, because Traore can provide do this, as can Hill or Young.

I will just have to trust Hughes' judgement on this one.

The Joey Barton trend is gone, the paul konchesky trend is the new thing on here.

Would be surprised at this. IF & that's a big IF Hughes went for him I'd be hoping its as back up only & to bulk up the squad numbers & not as a replacement for either Traore or Taiwo as already mentioned he's pretty sh!t.

                    Was alright 5 years ago.

I can accept that Johnson and Nelson will be great squad players, but this one really is awful. I am hoping that some younger, better players are signed - as I wasnt expecting some of these names. Not saying we have to spend millions and millions, as we have a decent squad, but if we want to stand a real chance of progressing, we need to do better than players like Konchesky. I cant understand this one at all

                            Better than Traore defensively IMO

Surely not? Traore and Hill are both better left backs. and if rumours of Fabio are true then surely this is ********?
We're Queens Park Rangers and we always do things the hard way!

The encouraging thing is that MH see's Traore as a left midfielder, which is great news.
