None of the teams have won their games easily. If you get to the Euros, you are usually a decent team.

True, it was a disciplined performance, but it wasn't good to watch.

Also, England were lucky that the useless official couldn't see the ball over the line, from 5 yards away (although it should have been ruled offside anyway).

Had to eat (yes, again!) my words in the fact I used to say Gerrard was overrated but he was top dog yesterday, great player, shame he can never raise a smile!

Think we'll raise our game for the I-ties. Will be a scrappy game IMO but we'll come out with a 1-0 win.

Refuse to give Terry credit for the clearance (purely because hes a karnt) and so, for me, all credit goes to hart for getting a touch on that shot and stopping it going straight in!
I refuse to give Terry any credit, because for the umpteenth time, his "heroic" last-ditch defending was necessary because of a mistake he'd just made.

great win, ugly performance, just don't see what Roy sees in Young and Milner. Young in particular does nothing going forward and keeps dropping us in the brown stuff defensively:boo:
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

Agree about Young, i think Milner although setting the world on fire, does make us a bit more solid defensively, wouldn't mind seeing Walcott or ox in for Young

Love to see The Ox have a chance, got a feeling could be as big an impact as a young Owen or Rooney
