Oh yeah because MH signs him everyone must think he's a great player......Sorry but the facts don't lie. Scored only 3 prem goals last season and they were all against us. He couldn't even get in Fulhams side. Its not about trusting the manager (which I do), but personal opinion.

While were on this topic though...I seem to recall you saying to me I'd get laughed at in the pub for suggesting QPR need a new stadium. Well mate, you must feel a bit stupid now that successful businessmen feel the same? Or do you not trust Tony's PROVEN track record....?

As I said earlier in the thread AJ has been fit since Xmas but after a fall out with Jol was cast aside. Hard to score when your sitting in the stands.

But as we've already said all about opinions. I think he'll do just fine with us.

Not sure what you mean here. I know what a good striker is (Cisse) and I know what a poor striker is (Bothroyd) but what is a 'quality' striker?

And I don't disagree with you. He is here for precisely what you said, to bolster the squad. He's not here to be our main goal getter, we have Cisse for that.

We are after a proven forward who's played for some of the biggest clubs in the land & if we get him we'll be happy (well most of us) if we don't its clear Sparky wants another forward.

At what point in time have I said anything to give you the impression I'm a hypocrite you just making yourself look stupid

Its inevitable with sustained PL status this club will move to a new stadium in the future there is no doubt about that I've always maintained that we are in no rush to do it. I don't believe we would even leave Loftus Road for at least another five years. What irates me about fans like you who want to leave Loftus Road for all the wrong reasons just so you can have a **** measuring contest down your local boozer with your mates about your football team in Surrey. I am happy to stay at Loftus Road for the foreseeable future because I love the place it is part of my heritage, fans like you couldn't care less if the ground was moved 5 miles away from W12 just so long as you get a bit of leg room, plenty of kiosks to serve you warm beer and something to boast about.

Let's see what happens with regards to moving ground me thinks we may have a few issues due to the price of land in W12

AJ is a decent addition. I personally feel it's a very safe, pragmatic move in a position we could have afforded to take a little gamble on but I'll trust the manager if he thinks it's what's needed in the squad.

Both Nelsen and AJ strike me primarily as signings with a strong view towards establishing a professional competitive mentality around the club rather than simply in terms of what they offer on the pitch, ie it's not necessarily about AJ scoring a hatful or Nelsen keeping a watertight defence single-handedly but the effect they'll have on the XI chosen on the day.

City coming back to win that last day of the season might have been fun for everyone else but you can bet it stuck right in Sparky's throat. Today's transfers are to ensure it never happens again.

Do me a favour mate! I've had a season ticket for as long as I can remember (nearing 15 years) and my great grandad supported the r's. So don't give me that heritage ******** cos' quite frankly I bet you anything I've got just as much if not more than you.

Now my reasons are for wanting to move are so my club can be successful for years to come. Stop pre-judging as you like to do. I love loftus road for what it is but its holding us back from growing our fanbase which is vital if we are going to be a competitive premiership force. Personally I couldn't give a flying **** about getting a beer at half time (never do) or the small leg room. Other fans do though and if it means they start coming to support the club I'm all for it. And yes the bigger the better....why wouldn't you want our club to be big and successful? If you wanna be an underdog or a 'loser' there's plenty of non league clubs out there who would happily take your cash. Its fans like you who want to halt progress due to the fear of changes....

He's scored 6 goals in his last 3 Premier League seasons. Thats an awful record, awful signing. DJ, HH, Zamora, Cisse and Mackie are all better. Poor signing

It doesn't need to be like that. Ok, LR has a cracking atmosphere, but it's a dilapidated stadium. It has 13% restricted views, small, cramped, offering poor facilities. It's way past it's sell by date I'm sorry to say.

I went to the MK Dons away game and thought that kind of stadium would be ideal for us. I was down towards the Dons end and they sounded very loud, even though it's still not a completely built stadium.
