the prospect of putting Norwich and Swansea in their respective places early on is very appealing

As soon as there is a date and the name of a team that we're playing next to it...the nerves start.........

Don't think we could have asked for a better start to the new season Swans HOME Norwich AWAY... bring 'em on - It's taken me time to adjust to Mark Hughes after Neil Warnock, which for me was like having a love affair with a person you've been totally besotted by for two and a half years, then bang.... that person tells you they've been offered the job of a lifetime, in a far off shore, and they have to leave in the morning..! Part of the quote I've picked up on from Mark Hughes is.... "This club wasn't ready for the Premier League".... how very true those words were.
Anyway.... my first post for many moons, not sure about the new WATRB's format, but times move on eh..! I'd like to think that QPR can make a real go of winning The League Cup this 2012/13 season.... or 'Captial One Cup' as it's been re-named.
Yep.... good times ahead, and my prediction is QPR will be WELL safe, with the magical 40 points up by the time we play Southampton on 2nd March.

            Come on you R'ss..!

I reckon 25 points by the turn of the year and safe with 4 games to go.

generally pretty happy with the spread of fixtures, hopefully we can get off to a winning start vs Swansea but, new manager n all, not taking it as a given at all. Cant wait for the rollercoatser to begin again.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

he seems too have the midas touch
he gets top players without paying too much

I am so glad now that mark hughes isnt always wearing that dark blue tie

I know this might sound weird but when I first quickly perused the fixture list, I had a throw back to the 80s in seeing West Ham and Southampton kinda circa 85/86. Whatever their respective failings they are proper football clubs.
Best thing about the new season IMHO is that the top league no longer has Bolton and Blackburn, both clubs were complete waste of space adding nothing to the league but generally guaranteeing for far too long that two places in the premiership was always taken up by those two jokers. Without them the premiership seems much more fresh , think west ham and Southampton are in ways more similar to us and i actually think those two games both h & a will be tremendous.
