I feel better about him, always good to hear former fan's view.

That's exactly my point. My West Ham fans love Rob Green and no wonder why, he's a really good goalie
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

As someone posted the other day, it's taken 30 odd years but we never forget,......revenge for them taking Phil Parkes from us!!

That's why you should always make your own opinions of players, not jump on bandwagons and believe why you read in the gutter dog press.

Rob Green is a very good keeper, but that one howler vs USA left him tarnished

Wow that was some read & should shut up some of the more negative clueless on this board.

            Very capable keeper.

I'm not buying the West Ham talk about he only came for the wong though, he has clearly been briefed on our future & what big plans we've got ahead & like Mark Hughes liked what he heard and is signing up to the cause.

Not sure about the " they're a crappy little club who throw money at everything" comment. Bloody cheek..

This is what Lee Clayton of the Daily Mail said on twitter on june 13th

                Lee Clayton‏@LeeClayton_

On Rob Green, he is being paid less by QPR than he was offered by West Ham, before they withdrew from talks. May have overvalued himself.

It does make me laugh when a player leaves a club to sign for somebody else, the other club is always the "smaller club" it is a "sideways step" "we will do better than them " and "that crappy little club" who the hell do they think they are then ?? Scraped the play offs and suddenly there world beaters, some fans eh ,so deluded !!!

Maybe a bigger club in the eyes of their fans but what exactly have they done to earn the right to look down on other teams?

Whoops, forgot, they won the world cup

Hardly up there with the Uniteds, Rangers or Real Madrids of this world in terms of trophies won.

Going forward, which of us has more promise?
