but i cant remember ever meeting any loftboys from willesden

its strange because i would have thought there would be many qpr fans from willesden

but comming back to 1969 there were many from ealing but hardly any from northolt

the origional loft didnt include many from greenford or northolt it was made up of

EALING,LADBROKE GROVE,SHEPARDS BUSH,WHITE CITY,THESE FOUR AREAS MADE UP MOST OF THE ORIGIONALS
there was always a big mob from roehampton in the loft

Remember it well mate, i used to live in swiss cottage, then moved to shoot up hill, and was always down that end, i used to work in sainsburys in kilburn then.

i grew up watching the **** and fulham with a mate and his dad but something was lacking, but didnt really know what it was until a couple of friends of mine from kyaston school in swiss cottage, who lived near kilburn high road said come down to shepherds bush and watch a decent team next saturday, which i did, and i was hooked as they say, were talking about the end of the 65/66 year, i was abt 13 then, remember bunking off school early to get the coach from the loft to reading, great times, also last match of that season going up to walsall by coach. couldnt wait for next season to come, went to all the home and away games after that up till about the end of the 80´s, then i moved out of london, and found it nearly impossible to visit my 2nd home every other week, then i moved to sth america where i´m living at the moment, but always tune in via streaming channels to watch all the games. im not sure if there is anybody out there who can remember our ist season in the ist div and last match of the season v the ****?? well you would have remembered that we took their beloved shed, singing, dancing etcetc, then all the *****s came in abt 2.30 and the cops politly asked us to move to the other side ground.

i forgot to mention that i moved to harrow road, kensal road end in the mid 80´s and after nearly all away matches up north used to end of at the hammersmith palais, and there was always a good following of rs in the palais then. remember all those fond moments when the loft was really heaving, great days. lets hope for a better season than last and also a full house and 3 pts from our opener v swansea.Remember it well mate, i used to live in swiss cottage, then moved to shoot up hill, and was always down that end, i used to work in sainsburys in kilburn then.

I think there are very many QPR fans in Northolt. Many families moved out of Sherperds bush to Northolt many years ago, hence the following in Northolt. My Grandparents, both grew up on Bloemfontein Road and moved out to Northolt. These are my QPR roots! I remember my first game... losing 3-2 to man united with sir les scoring a cracker, and also ryan giggs scoring a wonder goal!

Anyone ever been drinking in the Falcon or the Canterbury Arms in Queens Park?
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Willesden is more a arsenal/spurs area with a touch of rangers. Kilburn
Is probably arsenal, chelsea, spurs, qpr in that order

Willesden/kilburn is north London so u guess its not a big surprise at the big spurs/arsenal following around there
