  • QPR’s Green day draws near

If the newspapers are to be believed QPR's first summer signing will be West Ham's out of contract England international goalkeeper Rob Green. Chris King gives LFW his thoughts.

That Gold tw@ of west spam said on twitter that Green's contract runs out at the end of June so I wouldn't expect it on the offical before 1st July (When the transfer market actually opens as well)
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Superb signing. Looking forward to this 1 being anounced officially.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Very good keeper. Nelsen in front with his leadership qualities & experience both picked up for free is pretty astute business by Sparky & the club.

Roll on July 1st when we will likely see couple of big guns.

I don't know about you guys, but since TF came in, we're seeing not so much a transformation, but a revolution at our club. It just seems so energetic these days, even if it's not the players
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Thank God it didn't turn out to be Shay Given. (after his euro antics) :S

..because he let 4 goal in against Spain? The best team in the wolrd while he had a very shaky and poor defence infront of him?

Given was a very good keeper but I think he's past his best. Green will do a better job IMO, and will benefit from coaching by Eddie N and our GK coach.
