Sadly for Ramage, the goal was not witnessed by QPR’s co-owners Bernie Ecclestone and Flavio Briatore, who had made an early exit from their seats.
Who could blame them, because despite further investment and the appointment of Jim Magilton as manager this performance had all the hallmarks of last season’s disappointing campaign. Plenty of possession, but toothless in attack.
Eeerrrr tell us something we don't know:anger:

He's no striker ( Well he's a right back ) or he'd say he mean't that, i would ;DUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

To be fair to ramage he put in some decent crosses the whole game, the one bad cross he put over ended up in the back of the net! Lol
the guy needed a break and fair play to him, was chuffed for him and nice to see him come over and clap the fans and milk it at the end"The New Era"
Been there, done that, got the Ledesma t-shirt!

I am really pleased for him.
He was playing with a lot more confidence and with Magilton wanting the team to play neat passing football, it means he can play short passes rather than look for the long ball, which often went astray last season.
Defensively, I have always thought that he was good but his distribution was poor. Hopefully Magilton and Gorman will help him improve that side of his game.
He thoroughly deserved his fist career goal, even if it was intended as a cross.
P.S.
That bit of luck was the least QPR deserved having hit the bar and post, dominated possession and created a number of chances.
As Holloway later said, he would have felt like a robber if Blackpool took all 3 points.
