In light of us apparently signing Nelsen, Johnson and Green it made me think which of our current crop of players would make the 25? So after having a little look at the back of a programme I reckon there are 15 certs(although I am not sure about Helguson, Bothroyd and Luke Young futures either) to make the 25, leaving 10 spaces that can be filled. I feel by Hughes signing Nelsen, Johnson and Green it is very similar to when Warnock signed Kenny, Derry and Hill(and look how they turned out!). We aren't going to sign 10 players at 10 million pound each but will sign a good mix of experience, youth and a few bigger names. So in that light does it not make the signing of these actually quite exciting, a squad that will be of premier league experience and potential? Opposed to the squad last year where a whole lot weren't to be trusted anywhere near the first team.

Is this along the lines of what everyone else is thinking? And that players like Nelsen and Johnson are just the calm before the storm? Whatever happens it is going to be a very exciting summer!
