Had QPR gone on to take a hammering at Eastlands and been relegated then I doubt Barton would ever be able to set foot inside Loftus Road again, but because 50 miles further south Bolton failed to win at Stoke many are apparently happy to forgive and forget. "

          I think the article judged Barton way to harsly. He did his bit of grafting when needed. ON the pitch.
