Andrey Arshavin....Would we have a chance of getting him? Or will the bigger clubs now want him after his amazing Euro performances (so far)?

I think arsenal couldn't wait to get rid.. Wouldn't take any notice of the way he's playing tonight, it's Russia v Poland they don't like each other much, so he's putting a bit of effort in..

Most of the arsenal fans would drive him to Loftus road.

yes i agree, and we should take a punt on that fella shevchenko, he scored 2 goals in a game.

Oh good god no. Often slammed by Arsenal fans and pundits for his complete lack of effort in games, turning it on very, very occasionally making it even more frustrating because he has the ability to win a game, but otherwise 10% application at best. His name was often booed at Arsenal and fans turned on Wenger whenever he thought of sticking him n as a sub for Walcott.

Ask Traore how effective Arshavin was in the 8-2 battering by manure
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Wow so we are too good for the Russian national team captain apparently. It's not like Wenger built his team around RVP. Arshavin was a lot better when he had a free role

Exactly, he's a very good player. The only reason he hasn't looked good recently at Arsenal was because the fans turned on him for a few bad matches, and then the fans didnt help by booing him from then on. He was totally shot of confidence. He was amazing in his first season and we know he can still do it, he's done it for Zenit for the last 6 months. Anyway, if we're too good for him...then we might aswell go for someone like Ronaldo then, shall we?
Standards for signings on here are way too high imo

No, nothing to do with us being too good for him. Quite the opposite. His first season was five months of pretty good form before two limp seasons, not a few bad matches. He had a few good matches.

He is a player that commands 100k a week wage, his age (30, I think) means he has no sell on value, inconsistency and zero defensive play means it would be madness to sign a luxury player like that who can spend entire games absent without breaking into sweat. We can do better, much better by finding players to develop and nurture who are younger, hungrier and cost a fraction less.

He'd never come to us, he'll want a club which can offer Champions league football
We're Queens Park Rangers and we always do things the hard way!
