We can do better, much better by finding players to develop and nurture who are younger, hungrier and cost a fraction less.
Exactly this. Plus he's a numpty that thinks he should be strolling into the Barca side. He was an average player in the Russian league that nobody had heard of until the last Euros where he played well, got his move, done OK to start and then was very mediocre. Rather steer well clear thanks.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

i'm lost - some people on here are saying that he's not good enough? that the arsenal fans boo him? arsenal fans a deluded - one or two of them even this that wenger is a rubbish manager.
arshavin is and always has been a quality player - and imo will snub qpr if we even mentioned getting him in.

don't we boo adel? i'd still chose to have him.

Russian teams have some serious money now, so he would go there if an attractive offer in Western Europe doesn't tempt him.

He would never, EVER....shall I repeat that.... EVER play for QPR - get a grip.

As for him being a good player - he is a talent. However, he turns it on for Russia - and Wenger bought him off one tournament and he was poor therafter. He is showing againt that he is a great tournament player for Russia, but has no committment for English clubs he doesn't really care for.

Yes, you're right, a 'quality' player. According to some gooners, a 'poor quality' player.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

An Arsenal scapegoat who's nowhere near as bad as people make him out to be.

He'd never consider us - but if by any means we managed to get him, he'd be an insane signing.

                Seriously good player.
