  • Next weeks Fixtures ...What are you hoping for ???

Obviously we don't want a similar run in this coming year as last year !!!!

Home first game or last game ???

Is it best to get the Citys , Uniteds etc out of the way early so we can look at the places we feel more confident of picking results up ???

Personally I'm not that bothered coz if next season is anything like last season I don't really think it matters who you play or at what time of the year you play them !!!

It sorts itself out over the 38 games !!

A similar set of fixtures to start with, but with 2 of the better sides in the first 6 games. And a far easier set at the end i.e no trips to Manchester in the last 6 games.

The 'run in of death' we had this year, probably saw our best form of the season (at LR at least) and we defied the pundits who had us certs for the drop because of it. So,
I'm happy to take whatever the PL computer churns out although would prefer London derbies on Boxing Day and New Year's Day and not too many evening games up north.

Dont want any of the promoted sides first game - preferrably Wigan at home to kick off the campaign. The rest can come as they like, over 38 games we all the play the same sides and I'm confident we wont be leaving survival until last knockings this year.... Famous last words?!
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I had no complaints about last years fixture list, it appeared "bundled" so we had a string of so called easier games in a row and then a period of more difficult fixtures and so on with gaps in between (which we should have used better to organise etc) where we didn't play, as we didn't really have any cup runs and tend not to have many going on international duty. We just appeared to do a great job of f****** it up for ourselves and relying on a miraculous escape at the end.
If I had to say something about next season it would be to have Wigan and Everton early doors and Swansea and Stoke
at the tail end. Even West Ham at the end as they are like Cardiff in that whatever nonsense we get up to, you can rely on those two clubs to take utter footballing incompetence to new levels.

Want Everton away early again as that's an easy collection - wait until second half of the season once they wake up and it's a different story

As long as it's not away to the **** from Kings road. I couldn't think of anything worse than watching them parade around with their newly robbed trophy and listening to their fans go on about how they're champions of Europe.

Swansea at home, We've scored 7 goals in our last two home matches with them, so Swansea please!
